There are a couple of other things that I have to do to be done with this project. I already have all the parts, just not the time. Suburban rear bumper and chrome sportier mirrors for example. But since I respect all of your opinion, what should I do about paint? Obviously I need to paint the hood and have a couple tiny holes to fill in the front of the fender, from pulling out dents. My question is should I leave it black, or should I paint it baby blue metallic. Black obviously would be alot cheaper and mega easier, but I really want to see what it would look like baby blue. Your comments are appreciated.

It look's good but now it don't look like a anymore it looks like a chevy now. i know the tailgate still has on it.

Id'e stick with black.

Iv'e allways thought baby blue is a girly color and should not be on a truck JMO but you asked.

I would stick with black, BTW I really like the cowl induction hood. Is it steel or fiberglass?

Black, with peach pearl above the body line, broken up with yellow, purple, and grey. Only because you asked.

The hood is steel. I just can't trust fiberglass, plus they never fit perfectly and you can't work with them like you can metal. I went with the polished stull grille. I'm really happy with the new wheels too.
Nobody likes the blue idea then huh? I just really think with all that chrome the blue would just look great. But then again so will black. Oh well, everyone I have asked says black.

I've never seen a 73-87 Baby Blue truck. I have seen a 67-72 Stepside in person that was baby blue sittin' on 20"s and it looked good, not girly at all. There's also a baby blue 67-72 Fleetside this month in Truckin', looks good!

EDIT: I take back my first statement. Here's a Baby Blue '84.

Well, I guess it is unanimous then. I looked at that pic on car domain and that isn't close to the color though. I was thinking more about the color blue on your task bar, that is if you are running XP. At least closer to that shade with some big metal flake.
