What I got done this weekend

This is on my 72 K5 Blazer. Had a bad oil leak so I pulled the motor and sprayed it and the inside of the front clip Hammerrite Dark Blue. Installed a new Edelbrock performer RPM intake and an Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, along with a new Accell HEI dist with Super Coil. Just need my hoses and my electric fan and I will be in business. The first two are what I started with.

Thanks for all of the great words. It's nice to hear when your work is appreciated. Yes that is a breather, and the valve cover is upside down not for clearance reasons but that way I can easily add oil to both sides of the top end when I change the oil. Probably not neccesary but that is why I am a big Burger King supporter. I'll have it my way. Hopefully running by next weekend
