Looks like he spent 40,000 large on his listing fee, $.10 a pic, and 400,000 pics.

That is probably the biggest reason why so many states are cracking down on lifted vehicles. There is always someone who just has to overdo it to the point where safety is a problem. Can you imagine taking a corner at normal speed in that rig....The center of gravity is totally screwed up.
Sorry...Off my soap box now. It is just frustrating to deal with these lift laws and then you see examples like this....and understand why they have them. |

If we are up on soap boxes, there is just something that bugs the hell out of me, and sorry to pick on you 1FAASTC10; but a C is 2wd and a K is a 4x4. So your 86 C10 is really an 86 K10 because there is a 10 bolt front and a transfer case. Sorry, but just had to get that off my chest.

he is converting a C/10 to a K/10, thats why it says that...
about the auction... those look to be the axles out of a 67-70 Chevy. I think the dana 44 front has drum brakes....and if so, thats hilarious. even if not, a dana 44 is not the axle you use with 32 inches of lift, or whatever the hell it has. actually it only looks like it has maybe 10" of spring lift, the rest is the table that he welded to the bottom of the frame! i also like the late 80's/early 90s style paint splatter interior, how Saved By The Bell is that! what a piece of monkey crap!

damnit 1969 GMC, i wanted to do that!
Joey, you are only one of two people who have said anything in the 4 months that my sig has been like that. it bugs me when people are that ignorant, since my C10 is still sitting in the driveway in all of its 2wd glory and the '79 K10 parts truck is in the garage, being prepared for the transformation, i can kinda get away with it. Did you see the u-joint angle at the rear axle! I bet that thing has one hell of a vibration.
To add to the c and k debate, only K5 got badged with the K all other chevys were Cs. It's the difference between the vin and model #.

67-72, I know that 3/4 4x4 trucks did come from the factory with C/20 badges on the fenders. the K only appeared in the VIN #.
I am not sure about 73-up, I don't think I have ever seen a K (except for Blazer), but I'm not sure.

That thing looks like it would tip if you drove over a Marlboro hard-pack!
Seriously, quick show of hands -- how many people would feel safe driving that thing at even 35MPH? Brian |

Also the blazers to 1972 were all badged K5 both 2wd & 4wd. Again the difference was the C and K in the VIN number. |

i go up to midwest 4wd sometimes where bigfoot is out of, i bet bob chandler was embarrased as hell if he had that thing parked next to him, lol have to ask them about next time i go. maybe the 40,000 dollars was spent getting it towed. or for accidents it caused.

That thing has a Pa plate on it.There is no way it has a valid plate and inspection. My blazer with 35's and a 4" lift is under the hight limit by 1".Also tires can not extend pass the fender and mud flaps are required on a lifted truck.
