I Recently Purchased A 67 Gmc Lwb Stepside 305 V 6 3 Speed I Have Tried To Find Out Production Numbers On This Truck But No Luck Any Info Would Be Greatly Appreciated . I Have Been Told Around 600 Lwb Stepside Gmc's Were Made In 67 . But Not Sure .it Is The Only One I Have Ever Seen .

You are right, not to many around. There are several board members who have similar trucks. Including my 68 4x4 with the 305v6.

i didn't know there was such a thing as a 305 v-6? i guess ya learn something every day!

Yup, GMC trucks could come with 305 or 351 V 6 engines.
You wo't find productio0n numbers on a GMC, there are many stories as to why not, but none the less, you won't find them.

Andy, isn't there a "rule of thumb" that there were approx. 1/3 as many GMC's produced as there were Chevrolets? (I figured you'd know) I know it's not exactly accurate, but that may help with narrowing down how many were produced. I would think the truck isn't all that common, that's for sure, and kinda cool too, I want a long step

I knew a guy in No California had a K model with the 305. GMC also made a 460? ci version for bigger trucks. Keith found one, rebuilt it and put the 305 stickers on it! He had a lot of big block boys thinking their rigs weren't running that good

TJ, while you are right about the 3 to 1 rule of thumb, I think he is wanting to figure the 305 into the equation...which as we know, was NOT in the Chevy trucks.

Engine's been changed to a 350, but appears to originally been a 4x4. If I had to guess, I'd say they're are fewer 4x4 v8 long steps than v6 steps, and even fewer v6 4x4 longsteps.
