Need a motor mounts question answered quick

just pulled the 350 out of my 70 getting ready to slide the 454 in and go to the parts store to get motor mounts and they are not the flat ones where the bolt comes up through the bottom.will the 350 mounts work?

454 may have too much torque for the 350 mounts.

I have the 350 mounts holding down my 396. Also had them when I had the 6.2 Diesel in the truck...

They are being reproduced now but they are going for $75 a shot. TX firefight did a write -up on using the small block mounting pad with the big block stand. PM him to find out how he did it.

It's in the FAQ.

If you really want to use the underneath rubber parts too, use the upper half of a core support bushing. With a few seconds of grinding, it will work in place of the original underneath part.

My 454 was happy on the 350 mounts, no problem with them ripping apart.

I just recieved my solid mounts from moroso. 20 bucks and you'll never have to worry about them again.

I used the 350 mounts for the 454 but I have yet to hear it run or drive the damn truck so I cannot tell you if they will hold up or not..
