heres a pic of the center console and back structual support I started building today. It will be coverd with carpet or the hide of that damm cow that keeps getting into my garden

I'd say leave it alone. I have personally never seen a 67-72 that I thought looked good with a chopped top. I've seen a couple with removable/convertible roofs like you have and it's pretty cool.... if you chop it or lay it back you need a good glass man and some $$$. Just what I've heard.....

If you lay it back without a chop,You can use the stock windshield.But,lay it and cut it!You already made the big commitment of taking the roof off.

I say cut it as a opposed to laying back,I like the lay look but things to consider.As a convertable not a lot of problems laying it back but with a roof the door frame and side glass have to match roof line and no wing window.But its really what YOU like and how much you are willing to work or pay for it.
