Arrow 10 bold question

I have a pair of '88 10 bolts out of a suburban. Judging from the size of the discs and drums, i think they may be 3/4 ton. Not sure, but that's not my question. Since the 10 bolt has a 30 spline center section, could you replace the stock axle shafts with a set of Warn 30 spline shafts and have an axle stronger than a 44?

there 1/2 ton not 3/4 ton. are you going to do any wheeling with those axles??? you could replace the shafts with warns. but the 30 spline shafts aren't much stronger than the 28 spline shafts. the rear axle is still going to be weak the carrier is a pos and won't hold up to any offroading with larger than 32" tires. you won't have too much problems with the front axle if you don't lock it. I've been wheeling on my 10 bolt front for little over an year now with out problems and that's on my suburban with 36" swampers but I'm easy on the skinny peddle and it's open up front.

If you have a rear 10 bolt it's half ton. A 3/4 ton would have had a 14 bolt rear.
