HEI problem?

Last night, coming home,it felt like my trans was slipping. The truck kept surgeing. When I went out to check it,the truck wouldn't start.I have not checked for spark yet. Will a bad module cause a problem like this?I only had them run or not run.

Yep--sure will. So will the pickup coil under the rotor--look for missing insulation on the tiny wires to the pickup. I had one of these little wires break completely but would still make occasional contact and run--talk about something driving you crazy!
