Another truck.....................in a horror movie!!!!!!

My cousin sent me the link to this. It's a 68-72 Chevy Fleetside. The move is the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre shot in 1974, it's where Marilyn Burns jumps in the back of the truck and the farmer hauls ass. Check it out.

I saw that picture in the November issue of Texas Monthly. They had a long article on the Texas Chainsaw Massacare. I tried to find the pic on the web to post it here, but I was unsuccessfull. Thanks for posting it. Of course, it was a relatively new truck when the movie was made in 1974. It could have had an entirely different ending if they tried to get away in a F&*d!

Ernest Scared Stupid: Jim Varney drives a 67-72 Chevy Truck. Most of his movies feature them some where. Example, Ernest Goes to Camp...

There was one in Lone Wolf McQuade, also. Either a 71 or 72.

I know what you did last summer...

In the alley, with the hood up, when the "buffy the vampire slayer" girl gets it with the hook.

The movie "Beautiful Girls" has a blazer with a pick-up roof used as snow plow.

I saw a picture of a wrecked 72 in the paper a few days ago. Was thinking the exact same thing. Then I wondered if the occupants were OK. Just shows our priorities.
