New Year's Wheeling (pics)

The Southern Bowties were out in full force this New Years day hitting the trails and found plenty of mud. What a way to ring in the new year!! Yeah, we all got temporarily detained a few times, but that's why you bring other trucks and a winch....

man that looks like fun. When my cousin still had his 79 bronco, i wanted to go with him, but there are very few, 'legal', mudpits around here, so he didn't go too often. And the cops will throw you away if they catch you tresspassing

lol, we had a pit like that at school last year, I ran my C25 through it with no box on I was one of the few people who didn't get stuck, lol The guys said I had a rooster tail off each rear wheel 10 feet high, my truck was plastered top to bottom with at least 2 inches of mud :p The back of my cab had a good 5 inches plastered to it

Quite fun, mudding

I love the 6.2, it's a hoss! Couple that with low 4 and she climbs great. It takes a little more speed at the begining, but other than that, it's a good engine.

We all got stuck, some more than others. The two times I burried mine, the mud was up to the rockers.

Ryan, you'll have a blast with us. We're planning on a trip to Barnwell in July or August, so be ready. We will definately be going back to Van Alstyne, we didn't get to hit all the areas, so we have to go back for more.
