My question is will the 84 2wd SB frame fit under anything earlier?

I don't know and my friend might be willing to make me a deal if I can find something to put her under.

I always heard the only stupid question is the unasked one,so I'm asking.

Oh yeah if any of ya'll have the 84 Silverado body near me holler.

They are different wheelbase from our trucks. It has been don by some of the 4x4 guys, but normally it envolved a body lift kit to deal with the frame dip differences. You'll have to relocate cab mounts also. older than 67 I am not to sure it will work. Pretty sure the frame is too wide. Most folks for the pre 60's use S10 frames for something modern underneath.

Don't have much experience with this myself but I do know that I just put a cab from an 84 2wd gmc onto a 77 4x4 frame and everything for the cab and front clip lined up exactly. It had a flat bed on it but I didin't even have to move that to get the cab to fit.

You can however, take the front cross emmber and bolt it to your 64 - 70 chassis, and the rear can be converted to use with coils, or if you have a leaf rear...then it might bolt right on, orr at least with a little cutting and welding.
