GM used the Q-Jets on 305's and 307's with no problems. Recently I drove a 58 Corvette with the 283 engine and Q-Jet carb and it ran great. Low speeds, high speeds, steady speeds were very smooth and the engine would scream with the carb wide open!
I think that you will be very pleased with the way it runs, (assuming the carb is good). Jim |
