You just gotta love it when sellers encourage low ball offers, that says to me he just wants it to be gone.It should be sold by now since its been posted on the board.Someone is going to get something you dont see everyday for cheap.

Looks like the bed was cut down from a longbed, I see a stakehole by the wheel. The windows in the rear of the cab leave a lot to be desired. I have talked to this guy and he does not have a title to it like he said he did. There is also some rust in the cab he said from a leaky window.

I went down to look at the extended cab and ended up buying it. It looked so lonely sitting there I knew it needed a new home. Now the fun can begin to hopefully get it home and running. The truck does need a lot of work so I guess I can put it in line with the rest of the projects.

extd56 - Great! At least you saved it from getting crushed....

AmericanRider - Check out Longhornmans website link at the bottom of his signature. It contains some good info on these conversion built trucks. They aren't factory but they are as close to factory as you will get on one of these!

isn't there a rule on this website, that when you buy a new addition to your family, you have to post up new pics?! I think its one of the laws passed by Josh.

I will get pictures as soon as I pick up my trailer and get it home. I already got the tach dash home. I have to make room at home, can only fit so much unless I build an underground garage.

That's definately cool as hell! If it was closer to me, I'd have bought it. Is that extended cab fiberglass? It kinda looked like a converted Blazer top grafted to the back of the cab. You got a tach dash out of the deal too? Sweet!!

Does anybody know what a 3/4 ton extended cab truck with a 350/400 weighs in at? I towed it on my car trailer to its new home until I can make room for it at home and it seemed to be heavy, the back of my avalanche noticed it too but handled the 100 mile trip well. I know my 1/2 ton longbed chevy weighs in at 4000 pounds and this has to weigh a lot more with the 3/4 ton suspension. Thanks

definetly a head turner for the 69-72 crowd.... makes you think "what the heck"

If it were mine I'd plan a fully removable hard top creation....

I have seen a 56 Chevy extended cab with a third door about 5 years ago for sale at a swap meet. It had a cut down longbed stepside bed on it.
