Late model seats
I remember a post about someone putting seats from a 99-03 sliverado sierra etc. into one of our year trucks. What is involved in doing this? Reason I ask is I am thinking really hard about doing this before summer. Here are the seats I am talking about on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33701

I have the exact same seat but I paid 200.00 for mine and it doesn't have any holes in them at all. I haven't mounted them yet but they are sitting in the truck and they sit well!

I have those seats. I had to drill holes to mount them. Otherwise no mods. You will need to reinforce the mounting area too. I put 4"x4" square washers underneath to spread the surface area of the nuts.

Hey Skokie, I have the same ones too. They're great if you're not tall. I'm 6' and they seem a little cramped but hafta say they're alot more comfortable than the bench. I paid $275 for mine but the center doesn't fold down and I've seen the fold down center jump seats go for $175 alone. I pretty much did the same as 71swb4x4 did for the installation.

The seats fit right in without altering the brackets at all. Just drinlled new holes and bolted 'em down.
