i finally got a pic of the mount in my truck for the big block. somebody has hacked it off to get the headers to fit.

Is your firewall hammered in anywhere?
Your engine looks like it's in the back set of holes. That's no big deal for a small block, but I've heard you have to modify the firewall to get a big block in those holes.

That's a small block mount, big block mounts bend down in that location...I'll see if I can dig up a pic..

Andy, I think that's an inline 6 mount. If it's in the rear holes and all three bolts line up, it's a 250 mount.

My passenger one is clearanced like that now as well...but it's also been reinforced along the back side. Has that tower been beefed up elsewhere?
