Rechroming Source

I was wondering if any of you guys that done restorations have a good source for having items chromed. I have a set of wheels and several other things that I need chromed for my '67 C-30. I have accounts with UPS, FEDEx, and ABF trucking, so shipping the stuff is not a problem if they are not close to me. Please help!

Royal Plating in Tucson is great. They've done lots of work for me over the years. People ship stuff in every day to their place. They've done work for feature cars in some of the magazines.

chrome

I've tried several places. Pauls is excellent, but they are incredibly expensive. Speed and Sport in Texas is cheap and fast shipping, but their quality is so-so. I've had excellent luck with Advanced plating in Tennessee (I think). They did several thousand dollars in chroming on my 67 camaro (including my intake). Excellent work. I also used some other place out of Tennesse, but wasn't super impressed.

Advanced Plating

Contact Information:
Toll Free: 1-800-588-6686

I had them do a cycle frame for me as well as my handlebars, oil tank, battery tray, license mount and some other stuff. Expensive, but well worth it. I've never seen chrome shine like the stuff they did. They molded every single weld on the entire frame for me.

Here's a place in Central Florida, haven't used them so I don't know how good their work is. http://www.spacecoast-plating.com/default.html-ssi for an example I called and asked them how much it would cost to chrome a 72 chevy truck bumper and they said $350. Don't know if that's good or bad.
