More info (and pics) on 67 Fleetside in NJ

I went to check out the fleetside this morning. It is a 67, all original with a V8 Owner said he thinks its a 327 but not sure. I dont know what the options were for the year so maybe someone can help. Has the heavy duty option package. All option codes from the glovebox sticker are 4G50BA, 4B98AB, 4V37EA, 4C2CA. Miles are belived to be 113,000. Forgive me but Im going to ramble on about this truck, it is a great find for someone with some money (alas, Im broke) I'll break up the tirade with photos though. I have 24 pics in all, to see them all go to http://server24.hypermart.net/misfittoys/67fleet/

Here she is. Caught my eye right away, I think those hubcaps are from an oldsmobile. The paint looks to be original, if not a good repaint, either way though it is due for a new paintjob. Paint code was 4500AA if someone wants to confirm the color.

Over all this thing is amazingly straight, clean and original. Take a look at this dash!

Even the cardboard cover that goes over the gas tank is there and in perfect condition (theres a photo on the website.

Lets look at the bad points. The passenger rocker panel is rotted as seen here

There is a small spot of rust in the drivers cab corner too, about the size of a quarter. And one rust spot in the bed at the back corner, about 2 inches round.

Thats it for the rust, the rest is solid and striaght. Look at all the photos you will be amazed. Even the rubber floor mat is unmolested.

Everything works, although the original AM radio sometimes quits.

It runs and drives great, the motor does smoke under acceleration (valve guides?)

Brakes all work great and it has some type of old trailer brake controller on the pedal...sorta cool from a nostalgia standpoint.

I could go on and on and if you want more info feel free to email, but check out the photos.

I have nothing to gain personally from the sale of this truck but it deserves a good home. Someone buy it before I get in big trouble with my GF.

The owners name is John, he can be called at 856-232-1361, he is asking $2500 obo

Tell him Jim sent ya, real nice guy!

Few more pics for ya

Wow, seems like a great price on that truck....wish I was closer...and working.....

G50--Rear Springs, 2000 lbs each
B98--Custom Side Molding
V37--Chrome Bumpers
4C2CA--Not sure on that one....
500--Black Paint

Seems like a real nice ride....

That isn't factory paint. The interior and exterior are always matching and there is black overspray all over in the jams and in the box. But seems like a good truck

on 67's only the interior metal was painted the interior color, not the outside color like 68-72's were. I think 66 and older trucks were like that also.
