I have a question?

Im buying a 1988 2wd long bed 4.3 liter and a 5 speed.

My question is,

would my body parts be swap-able from my 67 to the 88 frame?
i have a step bed that i am putting together so i could place the rear fenders where they would fit the wheel base best.
i want to get all the advantages of the 88 with the awesome looks of the 67
any input would be great
its been a while since ive been to the board!

Basically the same question I just asked

I am very curious as well , it would be soooo cool to have fuel injection, overdrive and anti-lock

I'm sure it could be done, but since the 88's frame is wider than our truck's frame. the swap would prolly require some pretty extensive mods. But any thing can work if you have a torch and a hammer

Here is one on a newer chassis. It's a 72 on a 99 and up chassis. You can see the IFS on the front. A lot of board members have pictures of this truck.
