Thinning Out the "Parts Stash!"

Did some "spring cleaning" this past weekend and thinned-out my parts stash.

1967 Driver's Side Fender WITH spare cut out.

No visible rust and no visible bondo.

If this fender had NOT had the spare cut out, it would NOT be for sale ... it would be back in the "stash." This is a NICE piece.

$200 OBO - NO SHIPPING - buyer must pick up or arrange shipping.

Fender No. 2

1968-72 Driver's Side fender - NO spare tire cut out.
The previous owner had tail lights mounted in the rear of the fender ... needs holes welded up. This fender has some rust around the mounting lip, but is repairable and very usable. This fender has some bondo in it in the rear.

$100 OBO - NO SHIPPING - buyer must pick up or arrange shipping.

Fender No. 3

1968-72 Passenger Side Fender.
This fender is rusted at the front-bottom ... where the step bolts to the fender.

I was originally planning on repairing this fender, using a patch panel made from the front of the next fender listed. This fender is definately repairable.

$75 OBO - NO SHIPPING - buyer must pick up or arrange shipping.

Fender No. 4

1968-72 Passenger Side Fender.

This fender has some bondo and has some pretty bad rust in the top-rear. The mounting lip also has some rust. This is the fender that I had planned on cutting up and making a patch panel for the blue fender listed above. It also has the holes from tail lights.

This fender is most likely NOT usuable as it is ... or at least I wouldn't..

$50 OBO - NO SHIPPING - buyer must pick up or arrange shipping.

Moving right along ....

1967-72 Steps with brackets.
These may fit earlier years ... I dunno. Anywhoo ... they are very solid and come with brackets.

As far as I know, these are NOT being reproduced at this time.

$100 OBO - Plus Shipping.

Now for the bedsides ....

Set No.1

1967-72 SWB Stepside Bed Sides with rear cross-brace.
The top of the bed rails have bondo in them ... previous owners attempt at "smoothing" it all out. I ground all of the bondo off of one to see what it looked like underneath ... will need to be re-bondo'd. It has some surface rust on the one that I removed the bondo.

These are very usuable/repairable.

$175 - NO SHIPPING - buyer must pick up or arrange shipping.

The board rules say I have to post a price, but notice the OBO after each listing.

If the price isn't in your budget, let me know ... you may be surprised at the offer's that I will entertain.

I also have some other misc. parts for sale in this post.

The internet goes everywhere. No shipping stays local. These would have been gone by the time I saw this,if they could be shipped.Especially being in the Eastern US.

I don't ship parts of this nature and size because:

1.) I want the buyer to see what he is purchasing BEFORE he buys it ... that requires him to be there in person. What may be a "good part" to me may not mean the same thing to him. Opinions and repair skills vary from person to person.

2.) These parts are BIG ... too big for UPS or FedEx ...

and finally

3.) Truck freight is the quickest way to turn nice sheet metal parts into SCRAP metal parts.

P.S. I would be willing to meet someone to exchange parts within a reasonable driving distance (100-200 miles) for fuel costs ... find a commercial carrier that will ship for that kind of rate.

I may want to make a offer on Fender No. 3
Is there a dent above the marker light?
Is there a dent below the rear body line?
Not sure if I'm seeing a dent or something with the blue paint and the resizing of the picture.

I will have to check that for ya ... to be quite honest with ya, I can't remember if this fender had any major dents or dings.

The fenders are stored at my dad's and it may take me a day or two to get back out that way, but I will definately check on it for ya.

If you are interested, I will sell you both Fender #3 AND Fender #4 for $100 ... as I stated in the posts, I was planning on using the lower front portion of #4 as a patch panel for #3.

Talk to me ... we can definately work something out here.

Let me double check the one I have, but I think the front edge is good. It's just that the tail light end is crushed, was going to cut it up for the patch.
