? for you 5/7 droped truck guys

could i get some of you guys to post some pics of some 5/7 droped stepside trucks with eny rims but would like to see some tork-thrust 2s (sp?) or some weld pro stars and how wide fo back rims can you put up under the back and what front rims do i need how wide back spacing etc do you need for the front with that drop so nothing will rub?

you can run 9½" in the back, with 5½" of BS on a 7" drop.

yup, and the front you can run a 7" with 4" BS with a 5" drop

Nice truck! While you're on the subject of 5/7 drops, how much wheel and tire can you stuff under a Fleetside? I've got a 15x10 widened Rally with a 4.5 backspace with a 285/70-15 with a 6" drop, and it looks like it will be ok. The truck is in the mock-up stage, so I haven't had the opportunity to drive it yet.

I dont know if the stepside fenders are in the same spot as the fleetsides but here is a pic of a 285/70/15 on a stock 15x8 rally

Thanx guys but are you sure you cant fit eny wider rims then 9.5 on the back like i have 15X10.5s with 275/60/15s on the back of mine and i think if i had about a 1/2 inch or so of it more on the back side it would tuck em

grande is that a true 5/7 drop? what kit did you use and what it cost? did you have to C-notch the frame or you just do it just in case?

yes its a 5/7
I dont remember what brand but I did buy it from stylin concepts though.
The front has spindles and springs the rear has a flip kit/shackles and notch.
If you just do the flip you should not need a notch but if you add shackles I would do the c-notch.
Remember though, it may not look too low but those tires are about 30"-31" tall on the back.
