will a 350 intake gasket work on a 283?

I haven't done it personally, but the intakes have the same bolt pattern and are interchangeable, so I believe so.

I am pretty sure all small block use the same intake gasket.

that's what i thought. I got a 283 gasket today
 my engine is looking like and engine now.
