Gday All

Gday all,
just found this site while looking for truck info and thought Id join...
Currently Im rebuilding a 1977 Holden 1 Tonner.
Now before you go WTF,its a pick-up well sort of anyway.
It was originally designed to take a BB Chev, but GMH (General Motors Holden)(Aussie division of GM) never followed thru... .
Will post pics asap.
Anyway Ill have a good look around the site and start posting away.
Cheers all
Sidey

Wassup Sidecar?

I was in Melbourne this past year on business when they had the big race there. I didn't get to see the race though because I was too jet lagged.
You Aussies are some seriously good folks. Loved that Gold Coast too. I didn't know the beach was topless when I strolled out there I walked so many miles up that beach, I had to get a taxi to bring me back home.

I wish I had some of that 4X beer right now.

Welcome.

Cheers guys thanks for the welcome.
Yeah we recentlyt had the Formula 1 Grand Prix in March, although I was about 200mile away racing sidecars.
I always get out of Melbourne come GP time......to many losers around who think they can drive like Mark Webber!!!
Now youll have to forgive me for not owning a genuine GMC/Chev bit plans are underway to fit a 454 into my 1 tonner.(pick-up)
My better half has a Toyota with the registration plate LUV-454 so I will be taking that rego and swapping it to my ride.
(question? Did the Chevy LUV ever come with a 454 from the factory?)

Cheers all
