I do believe I need new rear shocks!
It was my trucks maiden voyage with me monday as I drove her to get a new exhaust.
On the way there and back I noticed the back end wanted it bump around back and forth pretty bad when I went over bumps and such. I figured it was the rear shocks so I checked them out. Its a 71 GMC C15 cab..on a 3/4 ton chassis I believe. Thanks.

lol seriously how did they get so rusted?
The shocks in the front must have been replaced a while back because they look and seem to ride just fine.

Ahh...yes Utah uses ALOT of salt.
I just didn't think they rusted that bad  . The front shocks have definately been replaced as they are rather new looking and they don't have any rust. My guess is those are the stock ones...they may have been changed once but...just look at them haha. What would you suggest I replaced them with? I have KYB gas adjusts on my lowered suburban.They ride nice.It looked like the GR2 were only availible for the front.Those shocks that are on Your truck,the spiral body is what came from the factory.That's why I said they were the oem's or were replaced with the oem's

I have leaf springs in the back so I think they are available.
However I'll probably go with the gas adjust. Hehe I wouldn't be supprised if those were the original shocks...it sure does feel that way when your driving.
