The lifts were for 88-98 GM's, sorry dude. I saw the old AIMG lift kits in a 1997 Truckin' magazine. If the company would reconsider making those lifts, I'd reconsider buying an '87 or older truck.

Do you happen to like country music? When you said your truck gets funny looks in Atlanta, that put an image in my mind.(a cool one too!) Your truck would be the perfect vehicle to cruise around town if you wanted blast Charlie Daniels music; especially "What this world needs..." (is a few more rednecks) They play that song in the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" while Jake is driving Melanie's fiance to the battlefield in Jakes big orange 67-72 GMC 4x4.

Sweet!

Is Kennesaw a nice place? I have family near Cumming. They moved down in the mid 90's and NEVER want to move back!

If your truck is unfinished, what are your plans (or hopes) for your truck?

Yep, Moog HD front coils...it looks like it sits higher in front than it does in the rear, but it might just be the fenderlips.

So "Moog" makes these HD coils? What is a HD coil? (ie. is it a HD version of a 1/2 ton spring, a normal 3/4 ton spring, a HD version of a 3/4 ton spring etc.)

From what I understand, 1/2 ton and 3/4 tons have the same front coils if they have the same engine (small block and V6).

I assume the HD coil is for big block trucks, but I'm not certain.

i believe they are bigblock or 1ton coils, it should level the truck out unless the rear has severe sagging.. the reason the front looks higher is because the fenders are cut higher on the front. One of the things i dont like about these years, but since the backs dont steer they dont need as much room outside the fender....
