Sanderson Hedders. Who has them ?
I am looking to find who has them and if you know the primary tube size. I think I saw someone with a 1 5/8" in to 2 1/2" collector. I cant find a shorty with 3" collectors that will fit. I tried a set of block huggers and the hit the motot mounts just like the chevelle shortys.
Any help finding a 1 5/8" into a 2 1/2" or 3" collector "Shorty" would be great. I am going nuts trying to find a set that will fit. Thanks, Mario

Yep still looking. I am real pickey that's why the truck is looking the way it does. I think the CC2 will hit the motor mount too. Because Goplay2's is either a 4x4 or a 8 in the 6 cyl position. I really dont want a 1 1/2" primary tube I think it will hold back my motor when I go to a 383. I have droped my 3" collector only and will settle for 2 1/2" collectors.
I was looking at the chevelle shortys and think I might get a length of 1 1/5" manderal pipe and cut the up so they fit. It's mainly the number 1 & 2 tubes that hit. They should clear the frame rail. How much room should I have between the hedder and the frame ? I still have to go back out and settle on a price on the 79. He wants a bit too much. The truck is in storage and I am the first in line to get it when it comes out. It's a BB truck so not many people want a 3/4 ton BB truck with gas prices right now.

I have run this headers from Sanderson on my engine, I was not impressed by any means. the collector was supposed to be a 3" and only measured 2 1/4" the tubes also where extremely small at 1 3/8". Overall a set of Stock GM Ramhorns are just as good if not better. The pricing of the Sandersons are outragious. Both the ramhorns and block huggers offer no scavenging of the exhuast, both give up lowerend Tourque. The only plus to the Sandersons is that they mimic a set of Headers and look nice on an exposed engine streetrod. If it wasnt for dealing with Canadian shipping I sell mine to you.
On the otherhand both Headman & Hooker that I know of offer header kits that if you or someone you know that can weld could build your own set of Headers.
