It's kind of to each their own. I personally am not too wild about the 67-72's. I prefer the 73-87's because that is what I grew up with. I was born in 1974, and my dad had an orange 74 that I remember as a kid. He must have sold it around 78 or so. My Grandpa had a blue 76 4x4 for years. I loved that truck.

I think (hope) that they will be as popular as the 67-72's and get the same aftermarket and repop parts they enjoy also. It may take a while, but I welcome it. There were so many different variations on this body style it is pretty easy to build something different, too. My preference lies with Blazers, but there were crew cab pickups, long and short bed regular cabs, Suburbans, 2 and 4 wheel drive, etc. and with so many parts that interchange, it's pretty easy to build one. Just my $.02.
