Heater Controls Question
My defroster lever broke off the other day .... right in my hand ...
How do you remove the box ?? what do the screws on the front do ?? i noticed the cables are attached with little push down clips ... any tips or suggestions ... i have a service manual but i'd rather ask you guys ....  anyone ??

There are 2 large head phillips screws just under the dash. Remove them and pull the unit out from the back.
The clips just pull off. You can replace the lever by removing the pin that holds them in. Bob

www.gmcpauls.com sells a set of replacement levers that are made out of steel instead of aluminum. That way you don't have to worry about the levers breaking again.
