Will one from a P/U work, or are they Blazer specific

If he does, we may have to do an "intervention" and take the keys from him.

No, No, and Very , I just want to put as many options on "GQ" as I
can find, since she will have a fresh option sheet, I want lots of stuff
on her, That way I can have everything on her even if I never use it.

(Oh yea, and I found one, so now I am down to 4 options left, that are
desireable ones, till I get everything I want for her, I'm getting there )

LUV - I don't blame you a bit. That is already one of the sweetest rigs, can't wait to see it in paint!

RED - stop by sometime and see them in person. I've got skid plates on my '72 - transfer case and gas tank. Also - did you see that the CGTCW is going to have space at the queen anne car show in august? check it out on http://classicgmtrucks.net/

Remember that Blazers also came with a fuel tank skid plate when the skid plate option was ordered. That one is definitely different than a pickup.

Nope, just a line on the top three, guess who, and think real hard,
still looking for a working AM/FM radio, no desire for the other part.

The name slips my mind, lol. I'd like to find an AM/FM too.

I have a period correct Blaupunkt Wolfsburg with K, L, and M bands, a mid 60's Blaupunkt Hamburg AM, and a late 70's Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette. I also have 2 early 60"s Sapphire I AM, and a bunch of late 60's-early 70's Sapphire AM radios (all above from VW).

Isnt there a posi rear end option ??? Get a locker or something!

How much are the "*72 Tow Hooks (Extreme Bend)" that you know of for sale? I need some tow hooks - i almost took some off the back of a school bus , do you guys know what i'm talking about? Ones that have bend in them also..... they're pretty close as far as not being orig. hooks go.

What about the T-case skid plate, thats' not stock.... that was an "option" mine came with since it has it? Or am i not understanding it and i need pics.... mind isnt a very larde piece of metal at all... but i've nailed it before being a dump ass and it was all good so.... ?!?!

Isnt there a rare option thread, or have you already gone through that luv?

I need to take a pic of my oaky gas tank guard. Its a pieces of steel going from my trailer hitch under the tank to pieces welded to the frame that hang down and have another "cross member" kinda piece a few inches lower to clear the tank and connect the steel rail kinda thing.... real classy...

Hard to put a price on those... 72 only with extreme bend have not been for sale here in a long time (very hard to find). The bus (C-40-C-60) hooks are specific to 2 ton trucks and above, and are not wildly sought after...

I'm talking about the bluebird busses... the ones on the back, like 40 passenger ones?

Besides the *72 Tow Hooks (Extreme Bend) - what about the other 1st gen. tow hoooks... have any pairs of those been forsale here or on ebay lately?

Some board members have had a few sets for sale lately... around the $140 range before they sold. I think the 72 only hooks with the extreme bend will go for $300+. Don't forget you still can get period correct 69-72 hooks that don't have the extreme bend for $200+

<edit> just for information sake... 72 trucks had 2 possible front hooks. There are 69-72 style that don't have an extreme bend, and the 72 only hooks that have an extreme bend
