Goodmark fenders?
Greetings all,
Anyone use the Goodmark brand replacement front fenders on a 69 c20? I would like to hear your experiences good and bad please.

I used the Goodmark fenders on my 72 K10 and I have to say I am very happy with them....everything went together pretty smoothly....it was a little tough lining up the holes for the Grille surround brackets but other than that they are great.....Paul K

I used Goodmark to replace the right inner and outerfender. The outer fit pretty good, the inner didn't fit well at all. I had to really work over the inner fender, drill new holes and hammer it to fit.
I'd recomend the outer and not the inner. |

Mine aren't Goodmark, but they are repros that fit just fine without any drilling or hammering.
I had them powdercoated and put them in...no pre-fitting, but the fenders are GM. I use tapered punches to pull/adjust the holes with the clips. I am sorry, but I think a lot of the problems with repro parts are..the installers! Last edited by PICKMUP; 06-02-2005 at 11:03 PM. |

I used both the driver inner and outer fender and had no problems with the fit of either. I actually was pleasantly surprised because I read so many horror stories on how some holes wouldn't line up and stuff, so I was a little reluctant to purchase the inner. However, I used a drift pin and lined up all the holes before final tightening. It went in great
It actually looks as good if not better than my original oem one. I think that patience comes in handy when fitting these parts. demi Last edited by demi; 06-02-2005 at 11:21 PM. |
