Small Window '69 - Pending

Well, I have been on the hunt for a good cab with as little rust as possible. My DS kick panel is shot, I have rust forming in my rockers & corners, etc...and I just wanted to swap it out. While kicking around a junk yard near-by, GMan69 & I ran up on a good '67 cab. I mean a GOOD '67 cab.
According to the paperwork that was still in the cab, it was bought in Mississippi and at the time of the wreck, was a still licensed in Mississippi. We looked this thing over pretty good and WOW.
I don't know if you can see the condition of the rockers & corners in these pix, but these are the ORIGINAL parts. No hint of replacement parts here. No fiberglass or plastic filler either (what you see in the pic is metal, then grey primer, then blue paint!!). We removed the doors before we loaded it on the trailer (they were PERFECT...and shut like a dream). My small wallet couldn't get the doors & cab together...
After staring at it once we got it off the trailer, I started to feel alot better about spending the money. (At first I thought that $350 was a little over the top!!)
So, as soon as I get the time, I will be driving a SMALL WINDOW 1969 C-10.
If anyone needs anything off this cab, please check the parts board or just let me know. I will be moving all my existing parts to this cab, including the A/C dash.

Oh, you want pics? Sorry.....almost forgot...

The steering wheel in as good a shape as the rest of the cab? If you want to part with it, how much to 78759?

Nice Find!

TruckinDaddy...the steering wheel is bent. He was holding on to it when he got rear-ended. -SORRY

Did you remove the gauge cluster? Id be curious to know how many miles were showing on the odometer. Even the pedal pads dont' look that worn. I'd give $350 all day long for a cab that nice.

70 Shorty, the cluster was already gone, but even the floor rubber mat is nice, and the under-mat insulation is nice & dry!!!

Bill, actually, we found that a wide strap (similar to Krue's) and a John Deere front-end loader makes short work of such things!!! Plus you can move it, tilt it, slide it, etc....

meathead,
The guy is asking $200 each for the complete doors. They are PERFECT. Rust-free. Perfect glass. Regulators work awesome. Panels on the inside are mint....and since they are '67s, they have no holes for armrests. My wallet just wasn't ready for that type of relationship yet!!!

Putter, you lucky dog! Guess I now know why I did not see you at the 1st Saturday cruise-in. It is extremely hard to find a cab in that condition these days. I wish they had another one. Bodyshop is frustrated with me. Seems the previous shop did not brace the cab before they cut the corners, rockers, and floor pans out to replace them. Apparently the cab flexed and when they put the new door bottoms on, they measured the opening rather than the original door. This bodyshop is finding all kinds of mistakes made by the last shop.
