Cool, my offer's still open if SWMBO doesn't want to let you have it. My parents aren't too far from you, they're in Nipawin, SK.

I was actually talking to my dad last night about panels and it turns out he had a 53 Panel that he converted into a pickup many many years ago. It was his work vehicle when he was an electrician. I remember seing that truck parked on an uncles farm maybe 25-30 years ago.

As soon as my income tax comes back and I pay off a few things, I'll see where I sit with the mrs. about buying another 50's truck. My 72 will be done by late May of this year, then I have to start in on Shawnas 58. It is a project that I am hoping will only take 2 years to complete. But she will be able to drive it as we fix it. Then I wanna get into a fat fendered truck of my own. I won't sell the 72 but if I buy this panel I may be tempted to sell it off. And the $250 figure was a guess. When I spoke with him last year, he wants $500 for it. So we'll see what kind of deal I can get out of him

I see the pics disappearred from this post when the board had some maintenance, so I figured I would post em again. I was surprised to see this topic was only on page 2 of this board. I still haven't approached the owner of this truck, but I'm sure it won't cost much to purchase. He towed it behind his shop and is letting it sit in the weeds now

I'd like to have it,I'm a junkie for old iron.

A panel would be cool.Plus there is plenty of room for the audio/video/gaming system in the back.

this panel would definately be a cool project for a full out custom. I see it's still sittin there too. But I have turned away from it to focus on SHawnas 58 GMC. Once hers is done I think we will retire from building rust buckets and enjoy to 2 we have

That's to bad,but I understand totally.Too bad I can't get a line on a nice panel,or a sedan delivery would be cool too

I hope someone picks it up and wrenches it back to health,hate to see them rust away

hay dubie i know from reading this post that this is not your truck.but how did you get the pics of the inside. i have a 53 gmc panel and ive been looking for pics of a stock interior to complet my project if you could take some more and send them to me that would be grate. i singed up to this sight yesterday gust to reply to your thread.

It actually made the list at the front of Custom Classic Trucks a few months back. It is under renovation, has been and still is just like my truck. Some of the photo galleries are dead but again, under construction! Try it out and let me know what you think, translate that to suggestions!
