If you dont need the money, keep it. That classic is in great shape, it will be hard to replace in a few yrs when you miss it.

Start driving, if that's the only reason to get rid of it.

I might be interested, depending on the price. Is the truck in the Keys or is it in Oregon? Has there been any rust past or present? Does it have any current mechanical problems?

Yes just like any other 33 yr old truck it has had rust problems in past. it was restored in 1991 right before I purchased it buy the original owner very classy paint need an update on the outside as both bend oregon and key west sun have taken a toll on it. No mechanical problems except the windsheild washer will stick on once in a while..

Very nice looking truck you are gonna regret selling her but you gotta do what you gotta do, I like the gas tank doors on both left and right sides, do you have dual tanks or is that just to access tank on either side..

Welcome

Some us us remember you and your truck. Send that baby back here to home in Oregon, I promise to take extra good care of her and send you pics once in a while. If shipping wouldn't be a killer it would be nice to have a short 4x4. Keep us posted on your plans.

Here's what you do, put an outrageous price on it, then when it doesn't sell, tell the boss lady that you're not gonna just give it away.

My wife wanted me to sell my 69, when she found out that I spent about $2k on the truck. She told me to sell it for 2k (she didn't want to take a loss). Of course you can never sell a truck for how much money you put into it. It didn't sell and I convinced her that it was cheaper to keep it. She still didn't buy it, so we went to look at new trucks and when she saw how much money we would be spending on a new truck she backed off. I still have the 69.
It a fugly truck and that's why she wants it out from in front of the house, so I talked her into a paint job at the end of summer.

I think the best advice is to price it high and wait till she gets over the idea...
