Shift Lever Compatability

Does anyone know if any other vehicles shift levers are compatible with our truck. I have a 67 non-tilt. Mine broke at the base of the thick part. i tried drilling tapping and using some allthread to get me through for a couple of days but that was a no go. this is my daily driver and i really need it for tommorow afternoon. help....

Seriously, improvise until you can replace it with one for our apps. 67-72 vendors sell them.

i improved one yesteraday. solid aluminum. should work for however long i need it to.

A shifter lever from a non-tilt van from the '70s should work, although the end of the shifter lever with the flats on it that slides into the column comes in two thicknesses. If you are able to find a '70s van with a non-tilt column, you might want to grab the upper column housing that the lever attaches to just in case.
