Front Sway Bar '72 K5 4WD
I am looking to install a front sway bar, and eventually the rear. Where did you get yours and how much was it?

I just picked up a 77 K1500 suburban and it has the front sway bar. Looks to be a direct swap.

I converted about the same vintage ('77) swaybar to work on my '71. I had to fabricate some mounts (see pics). They bolt to the front crossmember and I only had to drill three holes total to mount it up. I used the rather large existing holes as the primary mounting points.
With a modest (<4") lift in the front, and ORD quick disconnects, it sits in there perfectly. I've got some soft 9-leaf Alcan springs in the front, and with the swaybar, it has a really nice ride and decent handling for what it is... It's been a long time since I have driven without, but way nicer than what I recall.

I used the u-bolt plates off of the later model truck. The ORD disconnects cure any binding that might have happened due to the imperfect geometry involved. Here's a couple more...
