What is the best glue you can use to install a headliner?

I just used 3M double sided tape. Just make sure the surfaces are really clean if ya do.

I use GE brand pure silicone in a caulk gun. I use the whole tube on the backside of the headliner keeping it away from the edges and applying it long ways. It withstands extreme temps and can be removed later if you decide to repaint the interior. I use a set of spare metal door panels wedged between the seat and ceiling to hold it up there (perfect length)
