Nice ride MAS! They are towing machines. I like being able to haul a big boat, people and gear to the ramp in full comfort. Your picture reminds me of camping in Illinois as a kid. Dad's first Suburban was a '65 Carryall, and then a mustard yellow and woodgrain '73 3/4 ton with a 454. He hauled a pop-up camper and 8 kids arround with it. The '73 was a great truck to learn to drive in.

Thanks. The picture was actually taken at Clifty Falls in Indiana. I also learned to drive on my Dad's 76 with 454.... Gas mileage certainly hasn't changed! You don't see it very well there, but the wife, 3 kids and dog are loaded & ready to go there.
