I cut 1 and 1/4 coil from the bottom of the front on mine but I rotated the coil so the end would rest back in the dipped out area of the a-frame where it started. I done this with the truck jacked up so the spring wouldn't be compressed. It did affect my caster and camber adjustments some but here is what it looks like. No drop spindles just cut coils. I running 235 70R15 tires all way around.
