WTB Choke knob and bezel

I just got the correct choke cable from Matt67C10 this weekend and now I need the bezel and knob for the dash. Anyone have a set laying around? It doesn't have to be perfect, as my truck is far from it. Shipping to 18706.

Thanks
Mike

What year bezel (for your 68?) and how many guages do you need?

For my 68. I need the little silver round bezel (I don't know if that is what it is called) that screws onto the cable before the knob. I have the dummy light setup if that makes a difference.

Some refer to the whole dash cluster as a bezel, is the reason I was asking. Just wanted to clarify for everyone.

I still need both. I have no clue what the knob looks like. I just looked in my LMC catalog and it lists different part numbers for the different knobs(wiper, headlights, and choke), so I don't know if they are interchangable. I just don't want to pay $20+ for a new one when it's not going to be in there that long. The POS cable the PO put in just sucks and Matt gave me the correct cable, but he didn't have the knob or bezel for it.

Thanks,
Mike

You have to specfically get choke knob..they're different in that their threaded onto the cable end. Something like that anyway.. I dont have one here to look at right now. Maybe a manual throttle knob might work. How deep some of the knobs are also is a factor.

I'd bet so. The threaded one is on my 68. Now if I can just find the right cable...

Sorry for the hijack... I had to rig up a POS universal choke cable, when mine broke last month. I thought I found one on the forum, but it never arrived. So I am looking for a useable correct choke cable for a 2bbl, if that matters. But I haven't felt like paying the $6 shipping out of a catalog for a $10 cable.

The one on that 67 is in the same position as where mine is supposed to be, and the I just looked at the cable and it does have threads so I guess it does screw on.
