WHAT YOU SAID DANO6910C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cost of a new truck, less cost of my 68 = about $19,000 worth of gas. At $3.00 per gallon that is 6,333 gallons. At 15 mpg taht is 94,995 miles. I drive it about 5,000 miles per year. That is good for over 18 years. I am 69 years old. In 18 years I will be buried in it sitting in the front seat with a an open PBR in my hand the the remainder of the six pack on the seat beside me with the rear slider open so I can throw the empties into the back. Gas prices have doubled since I have joined this board. I will be glad to buy 3 or 4 67/68 trucks in good condition for half their value so I can enjoy them during the next 18 years. Respond through this thread. Thanks, Bob

Vote more people into office that will curb the EPA's senseless power and allow companies to build more refineries in different parts of the country and get rid of the 30+ different blends of gasoline and we will all be better off.
Do not sell your trucks during this panic. You will be sorry you did it. Just my 0.02 . Thanks.

I feel your pain guys. However, my Blazer is not done being built, I drive about 1,000 miles a week to and from work for about 3 years now. I have been off of work now for about a week with a back injury but my girlfriend and I are discussing me quitting my job because we can not afford to spend 900 hundred to a thousand dollars a month on gas getting to and from work. I am also thinking about selling my 2wd Blazer project in order to pay some bills while I look for another job.
