Tomorow, i'll look at mine and see if I am mistaken on cable length...and see if there is a way I could use a 4 footer if mine was shorter.
What would you want for that?

Question

I wonder that you might check speedo cable lengths from car to car and find one that is relatively close, and just assume the extra inch(s) in order for it to be operable once again!
Speedo cables on the Camaros were different from application to application, and quite possibly may result in a length useable in our Trucks...It's a thought!

If you have an end to end measurement for the cable, and end to end measurement for the complete cable with jacketed housing, we could start looking for you from there......

OK, it took me an extra day...but I just measured my cable.
30 inches...so we are talkin less than 3 foot. I can compensateup to about 6 inches either way by relocating my transducer for or aft on the fenderwell. but i can't see milking a foot out of it though.
