headliner removal
How do I get the metal headliner out of my 81? I have to knock a dent out of my roof.

The inner roof is welded in. The only way to remove it is to cut it out.

You could try one of those big auto body suction pump things... My friend used one to pull a monster dent out of his door panel once. They're like 5 bucks at Aubuchon Hardware.

I have one of those big suction cups to pull out dents, but it's a crease dent, so it won't pull it out. It won't pull out any of my dents.
I guess I'll just take it in and have the dent pulled out, cause I don't have the stuff to cut it out or the money to buy a new liner (trust me, I will screw it up).
