If i understand your question correctly, it think it is sold as one piece with the switch.

I sure hope not...I have checked Chevy Duty and other places and it seems there is a seperate surround trim piece....that fits to the buttons/switch.....they want $22-24 just for that....the buttons/switch on mine are just fine---the trim/surround piece came off and I was hoping to find just that.....it is square basically and fits to the outside of the buttons/switch........then it fits/holds the switch/buttons in the door panel. this make sense??

It is all one piece if you are talking about the 73-87's.

I believe that the local auto parts store like Autozone sells the whole unit for $15 for the driver side. They also carry just the switch without the trim, sorta opposite of what your looking for. Like 86 GMG said, look in the HELP section. I think Motormite makes them.

...one day when the old man's not looking ... Saranara...

My bad.
I quoted the passenger side unit. The driver side unit is $27 at Autozone.

I was sure hoping someone on here had one..... The local junkyards around here are in love with their "used" parts too!!! I got a way better deal on here for some rally rim trim rings for example, that I could ever get at a local junkyard....they never know what they have either---I tried calling to save gas, time and they cannot tell me----"come and see......"....UGH!

most yards around here will not even let you go in the yard. They get the part for you.
