spark plug order

Can anyone supply a plug wire diagram. Its for a 350. I just bought a truck from a kid and i dont think he got them hooked up right.

Firing order is 18436572 Driver's side cylinders are 1, 3, 5, and 7, with number 1 being the cylinder closest to the rad, and passenger's side is 2, 4, 6, and 8, with number 2 being the cylinder closest to the rad.

It doesn't really matter which pole you set as number 1 on the distributer, so long as you set number 1 directly above the rotor's pole. Typically, most people set number 1 as the second pole from place where the power cable goes into the cap, going clockwise

Make sure that you have cylinder 1 at top dead center before you do anything though, otherwise your timing will be way off.

Thanks alot guys. Im going to check the wires, then the timing before i fire it. Gas was shooting out the top of the carb, and the kid I am buying it from is an idiot. I hope he didnt mess anything up too bad.

Re: spark plug order

I had a problem with gas coming out of the top of my Holley when i first got it, it just need adjusted, it was real easy but i broke the gasket that sits under the valve nut and had to make a new one.
