WTF?? My truck in Truckin???

I have not seen it yet...but there are 2 people this weekend that said some body is using my truck and thier info on it?? WTH?? Can anyone take a pic of it for me and post it?? I need to write a letter to Truckin!! That pizzez me off!! I couldnt get it in there when I had it ...now some clown is taking credit for it??

Dude that's really messed up. I'll be visiting my local magazine spot and look this up. Someone deserves a serious backhand pimp slap for that or a full metal jack blanket party!!!!

I know what it's like to suffer a stolen vehicle. But my question is, “if this is truly your truck, and some dipsh*# is stupid enough to parade it in a nation wide magazine, what are the chances you get it back and not have give back?

whos to say if it is and all the dip**** didn't buy from someone not knowing it was stolen... go get a magazine n make sure, if it is get up w truckin asap.

Keep in mind if it's in the magazine it is old info. With the exception of hot features, or cover stories most of the pics printed are 3-4 months old at least.

Dave, this may be your chance to track the truck down and get it back.

Find out who that guy is, and trace it from there. Definitely contact the magazine, and find out who submitted it.

Russell, the pic was actually one that he took when it was still in his possesion. Someone just sent his pic in and acted like it was their truck...

I'd get in touch with the Mag and request something along the lines of them posting it in next month's issue that someone was worthless and stole your pic. they've also got the info and name of the person who did it.

I was just thinking the same thing! I would definately see if the truck is in his possesion before contacting Truckin magazine...because if Truckin magazine contacts him...it would give him a chance to hide or get rid of the truck before someone comes a knockin at his door. My plan of attack would be getting him arrested (or getting the name of the seller if he bought it) before contacting Truckin and teling them he is a fraud.

1. Was it submitted a while ago by someone you know while you still had the truck?
2. Is is someone who just took a pic from the web and sent it in pretending it is his?
3. Could it be a current owner who bought it not knowing it was stolen?
4. Could it be the person who stole it and they are that dumb?

IMO - I'd alert authorities before doing anything

I would guess you may know this already, but just incase it’s not common knowledge, Waller Tx is located between Prairie View and a town called Hockey on HWY 290 just NW of Houston, are better yet NW of “Cypress Tx.”, doesn’t “Crosby” live out that way? Maybe he could help with the drive-by and the P.I. stuff.

The VIN of course is going to be the key. Someone had to do a job on it to hide tracing it as a stolen vehicle. It would be incredibly stupid to show of a vehicle without running a check on the VIN before or after you bought it. But it may clean, who knows, but there’s no deny that paint job for starters. I wish you luck and the truth !!! and like everyone else “I’m all in” to see the outcome.

LOL>....people would call me when my truck was somewhere they had never seen it and ask if I knew it was there lol. Happened all the time. Too many people know that truck for it to be out somewhere and me not know about it yet.

I am betting its a 13 yo kid saying its his and having some fun at my expense.
