What's it Worth?

I am new to this forum, and new to old trucks in general. I have a chance to buy a 1949 3/4 Ton Chevy 3600. It has virtualy no rust (except for minor surface rust). Original paint (need painting) and runs pretty well. I actually drove it this week. It is not the 5-window version.

Can any of you suggest what a fair offer for something like this would be?

Re: What's it Worth?

If I wanted it, I'd give up to 1000 for it.

Welcome to the board!

Re: What's it Worth?

I wish I could tell you what it is worth but I am not up on these years. I do have to say it sounds like a really neat project. I have always liked those years. Good luck!
