I buy it, because the rest of the truck is sweet and I'll bet a Blazer tank will still fit under there, then again that fuel filler door......Oh Hell off the the scrap yard!! J/K

Looks like the ends of the bed sides where the tailgate is supposed to attach have been filled in.

Some did, some did not.

All the V8 auto trucks had 2 piece with carrier, all the 6 cylinder 3 speed trucks had 1 piece without carrier. It depended on original drivetrain.

I wouldn't really call a spit bench from a S-10 Blazer "custom buckets" either.

Re: please don't do this to your truck

I'm guilty! I had a fuel cell under the bed w/ no sensor.
I needed the gauge to work for a trip to NC so I put a
80 Olds tank in that spot. I didn't cut the hole 4 the spout though.
It was gone as soon as I got home.

Re: please don't do this to your truck

Just to ignite another debate, it's actually a support bearing not a carrier bearing.

Re: please don't do this to your truck

Must be from a state with no inspections. It is not a DOT approved tank if not installed in the original location or DOT approved. Thats why aftermarket tanks are expensive they go through government testing. JMO
