engine puller in Austin for hire?

Anyone live in Austin, TX who owns an engine puller and wants to make some easy money?

I have a 67 with an inline 6 which I want to pull and start rebuilding. My engine stand came in this weekend.

cableguy0: wow, I had no idea they were so cheap. hmm, that's tempting, but unfortunately I am in a rental house with three housemates, and will be moving in a year. I can see myself using this again in the future, but for now having to keep it around would be a liability.

So, I think I'll rent one. However, I would prefer to have my money go towards helping a fellow forum dweller recoup their investment, rather than to a big name tool rental company.

CELL----

Newbie here from Round Rock. A buddie and I just picked up a 67 GMC longbed, two 70 Chevy short wides and a 69 Short Step. Live up in Round Rock and have a engine hoist you can use if you want. I'll need it in a few weeks to move some stuff out at our farm but if we can work it out you can use it anytime.

Looking forward to working on my trucks as soon as I get moved into my new home at the end of January.

BTW: nice 67... None of mine are runners all project trucks. the 67 GMC is the closest to being on the road.

Let me know when or if you still need the hoist,

thomas

Thomas,

Yup, still need a hoist. How does this weekend look for you (Dec 3rd)?

Wow, it sounds like you have a fleet! It's good to know there are locals working on the same kind of projects
