Winter project

Good grief. My oldest daughter just got her temps last month so of course she needed a car. What we ended up with was a 93 Grand Am SSE from my father in law's sister that had been sitting in a garage for about 4 years. 88K original miles and sitting on 4 dry rotted goodyears. One new battery and four new tires later she rolled out of the garage. Had to put in a new driver side window regulator, rear view mirror, a whole can of brake parts cleaner to get the rust off the rotors and a big screw driver to pry the passenger fender out about a 1/2 inch so the door would open. Runs like a champ after getting the stale gas through it. Now I have an alternate vehicle to drive for a few days while I get the carb off of Big Bird for a much needed overhaul. According to the original owner, it is still original, and starting to show its age.
Armed with my Doug Roe carb book I plan on taking this on as my new winter project.
