Re: November TOTM Voting

Bill72BB

I would like to have my truck considered for the truck of the month.

BB is a 72 C20 Camper Special that started life with a 10 1/2 ft cab-over camper on it .I bought it from the 85 yr old owner ,and after selling the camper and removing the extended rear bumper used it as a daily driver work truck.
Then while looking for an alternator bracket I found this Board and a project was born ,make a rusty ,multi colored in need of body work DD into something I was proud to drive .BB is not a frame off restoration" That the Hillbilly Way " but was only not driven during the time the body work and paint work was being done ,most everything else I did myself with the help of this board .

BB,has a 400 ,t400 tranny, 98 Silverado 60/40 seat ,Dynomax Cerama-coat headers,HEI dizzy ,single wire Alt. Edelbrock 1411 , S10 shoulder belts ,late steering wheel,Dana 3.54 rear , Eagle 16' wheels ,265/75 16 tires , Air ,PS PB Tilt and leafsprings

Extd56

Here is the info on my truck. It has a 1972 Chevy 402 big block with a 400 turbo transmission. It is running a 1979 Cadillac Seville front clip and the disc brake rear end out of the Cadillac too for great highway gears. Inside it has Dakota digital gauges with vintage air conditioning in the dash. There are a set of custom van seats with a custom console and Datsun king cab rear jump seats in the rear. I am running a 1958 Chevy suburban gas tank inside the frame with the original Suburban gas tank door on the right side. It has a tilt hood and a custom made cover for the bed.

Re: November TOTM Voting

86 Red_Bowtie

This is my 1986 Chevy 1/2 ton with a 350 small Block, with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 625 cfm carb. The motor is a Chevy replacement motor with a Crane cam bumpstick. The transmission is a Jet T-700 with a 12 bolt posi 3:73 rear end. The truck has had a Belltech 3/4 drop and Enki rims (old Classic style), the tires are 15" ( a little old style size), but are 295/50s in the back and 245/ 60s in the front. Turning them over is no problem. The truck is painted a lipstick red with new trim and billet phantom grille from Stulle. The tonneu cover is from Extang and the bed is finished with a Rhino Lining. If you look at the rear of the cab the bed light was removed and a third brake light from a 97 nissan pickup mounted for those that don't look at the regular taillights. The interior is finished with new upholstery and billet dash trim. The shifter has been moved to the floor with a B&M shifter. The stereo is an Alpine in dash CD unit and EQ installed in the dash as well. The feed the Rockford amps and the six speakers. The subs are behind the seat in a isobaric setup to enhance sound to a nice mellow rumble. For a daily driver the truck is easy to drive and is quite quick.

Did you get my PM, with my truck info?

Although I don't think that my truck would be able to compete against Mario's. By the looks of it we could almost have a Canadian version next month.
