67 suburban

hey, im going out to look at a 67 suburban that was in the paper this morning. the guy said the body needs work, but it runs and drives good 2wd strait 6 3 on tree. anyway the price was 400 and i think that is good. what do i look for? there arent like rocker boxes or something like blazers are there? could i use fleetside bedsides as patch panels? what options do i look for? thanks, Ben

Even if it is a total junker, it would be very hard to NOT get $400 worth of stuff off of it.

k guys i need some advice here. what my plan was was to buy the suburban and part it out. well, the body is prety much trash, rust and bondo. except the third door. it also has a runing 250 and a 3 speed. well the guy also had a 68 suburban that i might be able to get with the 67. this one has no engine, tranny or front clip. but anyway. what is a third door that has very little rust (two bubbles down ont he bottom about half dollar size) worth about? i know this is hard without pictures. but say if i could get these two suburbans for 400 would it be worth it to get them and part them out? any advice at all is appreciated. THANKS, ben

hey, how about barn doors? both of them ahd barn doors that where in not great condition. are they worth anything? see i have to be able to prove to my dad that i can get my money back before he loans me the money to buy them. a 6 cylinder engine and three speed are both worthless right? but the barn doors and third doors are or arent? ANYTHING IS APPRECIATED. thanks, Ben
